Heather Unbehaun, at the center of a six-year-long abduction case, has turned herself in, bringing an end to the high-profile saga. She is currently in custody at the Kane County Adult Justice Center in Illinois, held without bail on charges of child abduction.

This development comes just days after her daughter, Kayla Unbehaun, was safely located in North Carolina and reunited with her custodial father. Heather was initially arrested in North Carolina on a fugitive warrant from Illinois, stemming from charges of kidnapping and child abduction.
